This page explains how to delete your Transit Signals account and everything stored with it, what we erase immediately, and the few things we are legally required to keep for a while.
The fastest route — it takes a few seconds and needs no one's help:
This is immediate and permanent. The account and its data are erased as soon as you confirm — there is no undo and no recovery window.
If you no longer have the app installed, or you can't sign in, email us and we'll delete the account for you:
Send it from the email address the account uses, and put “Account deletion request” in the subject. If your account was created without signing in (a guest account), tell us anything that helps us find it — we may ask a question or two to make sure we delete the right account and not somebody else's.
We action requests within 30 days, and normally within a few working days. We'll confirm by email once it's done.
Deleting your account permanently erases:

| Feedback | Reports you sent us, including any screenshots attached |
| Sessions | All sign-in sessions, on every device |
Two narrow exceptions, both required by law rather than chosen by us:

Neither of these lets us rebuild your profile: they hold transaction identifiers, not your chart, readings or conversations. Backups containing your data are rotated out within 30 days of deletion.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the App Store, not by us, so you must cancel there — otherwise billing continues. Cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or on iOS in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
